Why it costs less
Not because it's lesser furniture. Because of how we buy it, and what we don't spend money on.
Where the furniture comes from
Big retailers end up with furniture they can no longer sell at full price. A customer returns a sectional after three weeks. A floor model gets replaced when the season changes. A shipment arrives with a scuffed box and a perfect sofa inside. None of it goes back on the showroom floor, and all of it has to go somewhere.
That's what we buy — open-box and liquidation lots, sold off by the pallet. It arrives as a mixed list of real pieces from real brands: Thomasville, Henredon, Sealy, and others you'd recognise from a showroom price tag. We unwrap every piece, photograph the one you'd actually be buying, and put it on the floor.
What that means for the price
We pay liquidation prices, so you pay warehouse prices. There is no showroom lease, no commissioned sales floor, no delivery fleet idling between jobs. Where we know the real original retail figure — from the manufacturer's own tag or the receipt in the box — we show it beside ours, struck through. Where we don't know it, we show no comparison at all rather than invent a flattering one.
One of each, and that's the catch
Almost everything here is a single piece. There is no back room with three more in beige. That's the honest trade for the price: if you find the sectional you want, the only way to keep it is to hold it, and when it sells it is genuinely gone. It also means we can't reorder a matching chair six months from now.
Graded, not glossed
Every piece is labelled New, Like new, Good or Fair, and anything we can see — a mark on an arm, a scuff on a leg, a missing hardware bag — is written into the listing before you ask. The photographs are of that exact piece in our warehouse, not the manufacturer's catalogue shot. If something turns out to be worse than we described, that's our mistake and we'll own it.
This is the part liquidation sellers usually get wrong, and it's the part we'd rather be judged on.
How we'd like to be judged
- We answer. Ask a question and you get a person, quickly, not a ticket number.
- The price is the price. No mandatory add-ons, no delivery surprise at the door.
- We turn up when we said. If a slot slips, you hear it from us first.
- The description matches the piece. Including the parts that aren't flattering.
What we don't do
- No shipping — this is metro Atlanta pickup or local delivery only
- No online payment; you pay a person, in person
- No assembled-to-order or made-to-order pieces
- No pressure. Come sit on it and leave if it's wrong
Come and check
Everything on this site is physically on the floor at our Duluth warehouse. That claim is easy to test, which is rather the point.
